The Einstein School Philosophy & Mission
The Einstein School seeks to educate the whole child; a child well-armed with knowledge and with an ability to apply what has been learned in real world situations. Einstein students work in an environment where creative thinking is not just encouraged but applauded and cherished; an environment where mistakes are viewed not as failure but as the exploration of a path that led in the wrong direction. The self-confidence our students gain through hard work, acceptance, and tolerance of new ideas allows them to embrace personal integrity and to develop a deep sense of responsibility that allows them to make wise and ethical choices. A rigorous education; abiding curiosity; and respect, compassion, and service to others are the principled foundation on which Einstein students build their future and the reason that an Einstein education is so special.
Why Einstein Is Unique
The Einstein School provides a structured and positive environment that allows our students to work in an atmosphere conducive to developing self-esteem where they may grow intellectually, morally, socially, and emotionally. We provide a challenging educational program and broad-based activities designed to help students experience the joy of learning. While the intensive Einstein curriculum is like other college preparatory tracks in schools across Texas, the details of the presentation of this curriculum give our students distinct learning advantages.
The Einstein School Core Values
The Einstein School is a community of teachers, staff, students, and parents. At its heart are values that we strive to uphold each day. These core values are:
All In – Those who are all in bring their “A” game to everything they do. They do whatever it takes to succeed and demonstrate a day-to-day attitude of commitment.
Always Learning – Individuals exemplifying this core value participate actively in their own education and implement what is learned. They take ownership of their personal educational development not only in their formative years but at all stages of life. They develop methods and skills to become life-long learners due to their passionate pursuit of knowledge.
Color Outside the Lines – These individuals are flexible in their thinking and in their approach to different situations. They recognize that not every problem can be solved in the same way and realize that out-of-the-box thinking is often crucial to success. They are creative in forming ideas and courageous in carrying them out.
Committed to the Cause – Those who are committed to the cause exemplify maximum commitment in whatever they do. They are goal-oriented and demonstrate a laser-like focus in achieving these goals. They make The Einstein School a better place every day.
Do What is Right – Individuals who embody this core value do what is right even when no one is watching. They practice the Golden Rule and make decisions in accordance with strong personal ethics.
Nonjudgmental – We embrace diversity and champion the differences in humanity that make us who we are.
