I want to thank you for your feedback on Alora. I cannot tell you how appreciative we are to receive such positive feedback. In all her years at school, we have never received such consistent positive feedback from all her teachers. To hear that she is respectful, hardworking and inquisitive to me is indicative of the environment that you all foster every single day – a place where she respects each one of you and as a result wants to work hard. Thank you truly! Alora was beaming after I shared with her the feedback and told me she loves Einstein.
THIS SCHOOL GETS IT! I have done extensive research on the private schools in Dallas and outlying areas and there is no other school like this one! The Einstein School, led by Jan Van Blarcum, seems to have found the magic key that opens the door to our kids’ minds. I love their approach of 1:1 individualized programming in an intimate learning environment where our son can learn at his own pace. It’s exciting to watch him grow and flourish! There is a real sense of community among parents, teachers, staff, and students. Jan is a great leader who is doing what she loves! It reflects on her teachers and staff. One of my favorite things to watch are the older students interact and mentor the younger students. Overall, we are absolutely thrilled and look forward to the next six years!

Rachel is the best of the best, and our Einstein kids are so, so fortunate to learn from her!!
The Einstein School has changed our lives! I cannot say enough about the nurturing environment the teachers provide there. I have two boys that attend, 8th and 6th grade. In the 5 months my 8th grader has attended he has jumped a full grade level in 3 subjects and two grade levels in 2 other subjects. He is also learning Russian as he thought “it would be a fun challenge”. Our family went from struggling with homework each day to “I had a great day mom!”. I have referred other families to Einstein with the same result. They have worked hard to ensure my kids not only get a great education but teach them that learning can be fun! I highly recommend a phone call to Jan Van Blarcum, the principal of The Einstein School, if you are struggling with your current school, looking for a smaller environment, your child needs to be challenged or you need a school that has flexibility. It’s a life changing phone call! (Annette Q.)

After an exciting day of graduation (at a fantastic venue), I wanted to thank Jan Van Blarcum and the staff at the Einstein school in Plano for providing our daughter with a top-notch education and support system. Because of your creative and practical approach towards learning, Danielle was able to graduate with honors and still work and ride. It’s created family balance and reduced stress by customizing her education to her unique skill set. Danielle and our family have not only had a great experience but have forged lifelong friendships with you all. I can’t thank you enough for your love, support and encouragement!
I love theater and Ms. Downs and Mr. Peepels are the best. (Mckenzie W.)
As a parent I have been very pleased with the school. Even more important, my high school aged son loves the school and chose it over several options, which included a large Catholic HS, an elite prep school and the neighborhood public school.
He enjoys the small classes, the academic rigor and what I would call somewhat of a college atmosphere of respect. You may find the school less formal than others, but don’t mistake casual with a lack of rigor. My son is more focused and dedicated to his academics than ever before.
The school leadership is excellent with individually evaluating a student’s academic needs and schedule and has even recommended taking a math course at a community college for dual credit both for academics and exposure to what college will be like. Socially my son has good friends inside and outside of the school. An area for growth is sports and extra-curricular activities and these are increasing as the school grows.
There are a lot of good schools in DFW – after some trial and error, we found Einstein to be the perfect fit for our second son. (Mark T.)
The talented, gifted, well-educated and passionate teachers that this school continues to attract are directly responsible for the academic and social success of my son! Instead of requiring teachers to educate their students in a prescribed manner, they are given the freedom to teach in an intellectually creative, interactive and team building manner. This environment produces students that not only exceed state testing standards, but they are teaching them HOW to apply their knowledge and become critical thinkers. Students are allowed and encouraged to color outside the lines, which produces some amazing “pictures!” (Julia F.)
I really enjoy going to The Einstein School. I love the small classes and the individualized attention. The Einstein School makes learning fun and stress free. The best part you get to learn at your own pace. (Annika J.)
The Einstein School is dedicated to individual success. Teachers and staff all are dedicated to excellence and success of each student. My son attended during his high school years and would not have been prepared for college without the dedicated attention to his personal academic success. We love Einstein School! (Kathy B.)
I want to take time to thank you and your wonderful faculty for your part in my daughter’s continued success. She feels comfortable, confident, and challenged at Einstein. This has been a wonderful combination for her and it has allowed her to soar academically and socially. What you are doing matters and it is successful.
Thanks for all you do for each and every student at Einstein. (Mary J.)
Discovering Jan Van Blarcum and the Einstein School changed my son and our lives. Not only did the teachers strengthen and expound our son’s ability and confidence to learn, they also worked on his ability to work independently. Einstein provided a foundation for our son that we would have never received in the public school system. My son is now attacking college entrance exams confidently and looking forward to attending college next year.
My wife and I are extremely grateful for all the love and nurturing also provided to the students and the lasting relationships my son has made during his time at Einstein. (Barry B.)
The road less traveled just might be the one that gets you where you belong. If belonging is something you value, then The Einstein school is where you should be. Two of my children have come to Einstein and found a school where they are accepted, encouraged, motivated, challenged and valued. Einstein is the kind of place that can change your life if you let it. My son arrived during his high school years. He did not believe in himself, years spent in public education had left him convinced that he would not graduate, that college was not in his future. That young man just graduated from The Einstein School last weekend. In August he heads off to college with a full academic scholarship to his first choice college. I am convinced this would not of happened without the individual care and attention that my son and each student at Einstein receives.
I could go on for quite a while about this school, the teachers, and the administration, I have not even mentioned how my daughter has found what she calls “her second home”, instead I’ll encourage you to go see Einstein for yourself. Meet the people, talk to the teachers and count the smiles. (Adina D.)
I have seen so many lives changed by The Einstein School and every single day I find myself amazed. The first time that I met the founder, Jan Van Blarcum, her personality and warmness took me into a new world that I had never seen before. She has such a creative mind that reads people and sees a future with the path to mold them into the best person they are and brings out the student in them that was hard to ever imagine.
The gifted and talented students, the ones with learning disabilities, the students that have never seen the inside of a school before, the bullied, the emotionally damaged, the poor, the wealthy, they all step into the school and every single set of eyes sees something different. Accommodating to every need is what the school strives for, no matter who you are. They will lay it out for you, will not hold back, and even tell you if The Einstein School will or will not be of the student’s benefit- because the well-being and education is what matters the most.
I’ve seen graduating students that dread leaving the school, but they are confident because their teachers have set them up for success as they move forward in life. I’ve witness kids that used to hate going to school, and now they don’t even want to leave at the end of the day.
Yes, as you can see the school has not been established for many generations, there may be some kinks to work out at times, but the advancement is so hard to overlook. It doesn’t take that long to build credibility in a community, but it is located in North Dallas which is large enough to impress … yet they are accepting kids today from all over our nation. I come from a small town in Arkansas and there’s not a single person from my former school that wouldn’t appreciate attending The Einstein School. If you look at the numbers, you will see how fast the school is growing BECAUSE of the imprint on parents and students that the school is leaving. There isn’t a minute you would regret being at The Einstein School. (Haley P.)
